Rustic WaterwheelI wanted to build a rustic water mill in one of my Sims 2 neighborhoods, and, naturally, that meant I needed to make a waterwheel for the mill. The mesh was created and textured in 3DS Max, then added to The Sims 2 as a sculpture. It's designed so that, when placed against the wall of a building, its axle and a gear protrude into the building, and a support brace is wedged against the outer wall. The player can then dig a pond under the wheel, add water plants, etc. to get a nice looking setting. I'm considering making a second "sculpture" to place inside the buildings, that would look like part of the machinery you'd expect to find inside, and would mesh with the gear of the waterwheel.
