- Export art assets from 3DS Max to a proprietary data format.
- Combine assets created by the Art Department with functions created by the Code Department in order to assemble a finished, working level.
- Set up flagging and messaging within levels to create settings for different events (race, capture the flag, and frag events).

- Create terrain for levels using spline modeling in 3DS Max. In some cases, apply textures created by the Texture Artist
to rough texture a level prior to handing it off for finish texturing.
- Create objects to dress the landscape, such as buildings, trees, rocks, fence sections, signage, etc. In some cases,
apply textures created by the Texture Artist, or create and apply simple textures, prior to handing assets off for
finishing.
- Using the X-Ref system in 3DS Max, create a file of level dressing objects that, when merged with a landscape file,
consists of the majority of static items in a level.

Level Designer - Full Auto (neé Inertia)
- Using a proprietary level editor, create and texture terrain for a portal-based environment.
- On a room by room basis, apply settings to control physical, visual and audio effects such as lighting level, lighting
colour, direction of lighting; fog, fogging distance, colour of fog; reverb; reflection maps; direction of gravity.
- Model and texture objects for use within the world, such as cars, mechanoid AIs, street lights, sentry guns, etc.
- Import objects created by the Art Department from Lightwave or 3DS Max to a proprietary data format.
- Apply settings to objects to make them behave in physically realistic ways (can be knocked loose, mass, center of mass,
damage volumes, damage skins, material settings, breakability, etc.)
- Using sensors, a scripting language, and a messaging system, set up terrain-based objects (building doors, elevators,
breakable wall sections, etc.), level objects (street lights, spotlights, sentry guns), and AIs to interact with each
other and the player.
