I am a long time resident of West Galt in Cambridge. I live there with my partner and our two sons.
I have been involved in many city projects and initiatives over the last 15 years and if you ask anyone who has worked with me, I can get the tough stuff done. I was recognized for my community work and was inducted into the Cambridge Hall of Fame in 2019.
I am proud to announce that I am running to be YOUR Ward 5 Councillor.
As your representative, I will serve based on respect, compassion, and fiscal responsibility.
Let’s continue to move #OurWard5Cambridge forward together.
I am interested in solutions that help our community thrive and will be there to serve and support you. From day-to-day resident support and engagement to regular communications and updates, I am committed to championing the solutions needed for the issues that matter most to the residents of #OurWard5Cambridge.
The global pandemic has been tough on us all, especially our small businesses in and around the downtown core. As we safely navigate the exit of the pandemic we need to take this time more than ever to come together as a community and support these businesses and each other.
These past two years have shown us how resilient the residents of Ward 5 are, but it has also shown us how vulnerable we can be. I am committed to using my experience to help those in need navigate access to the many valuable existing resources and programs the city of Cambridge has to offer.
The cost of living is a real concern for all of us. The price of food, gas, and shelter continues to climb and put a strain on already stretched family budgets. I will use my educational background in economics and professional experience working with people on fixed incomes to help make the city of Cambridge more financially accountable to the taxpayers.
Let’s work together to create the future we want for #OurWard5Cambridge.
